What is hypnosis?

 

Hypnosis is a gentle, natural state that allows you to access the subconscious mind while remaining aware and in control. The subconscious holds memories, emotions, beliefs, and patterns that influence our thoughts, choices, and behaviors, often without us realizing it. By bypassing the analytical conscious mind, hypnosis allows meaningful change to occur at a much deeper level.

What is hypnosis like?

 

Have you ever been completely absorbed while watching TV? Or arrived at work and realized you drove there on “auto-pilot”?

That’s a natural altered state, just like hypnosis. It's similar to watching a movie: you're relaxed and deeply focused at the same time. You’ve tuned out the world around you and become immersed in the story. So much so, your body reacts to what's happening on the screen, feeling emotions as if they were real. Consciously, you know it’s just light on a screen, but your subconscious registers fear, joy, excitement, and your emotions respond anyway.
