Program Overview

The Preventative PTSD Program is delivered over six sessions in a group setting, focusing on both mental and physical tools to address the emotional and psychological demands of the first responder role. By learning techniques to release stored stress and trauma, participants will improve their overall mental health, job satisfaction, and resilience.

A Proactive Wellness Program like this one is an investment in your team's health.

What You’ll Learn:

The Trauma Blueprint

Learn how PTSD manifests in both the body and mind. Breathwork techniques are introduced to help regulate stress and manage emotional responses. Explore how and where the body stores emotions and learn how to release this energy to clear stuck trauma or stress. Gain insight into how the brain processes these stored emotional experiences and self-hypnosis resourses are shared to promote relaxation and mental calm.

Advanced Visualization Techniques

Building on the previous units, advanced visualization exercises are designed to engage the subconscious mind for deeper healing. Participants are guided through hypnosis sessions to release deeply rooted emotions such as fear, anger, guilt, or shame. The focus is on reprogramming the subconscious to replace negative beliefs with positive, empowering thoughts, fostering greater resilience and mental strength.

Preparing for Impact

Building resilience through mental and physical tools designed to manage stress and trauma. Develop positive nightly routines and relaxation practices that can reduce stress and prepare the body for recovery. Additional breathwork techniques are introduced to help balance the body and mind. Additionally, somatic movements are explored to release  physical tension and support emotional processing.

Preventing PTSD-Related Habits

Learn how emotional release can help prevent the development of unhealthy coping mechanisms like substance abuse or overwork. The program equips participants with healthier coping strategies, including mindfulness, self-compassion, and setting strong boundaries. Review of what has been previously covered in breathwork and somatic movement techniques to continue clearing stress and emotional tension, ensuring long-term emotional health and stability.

Breaking the Chains

A deep dive into emotional release techniques, focusing on breaking free from limiting beliefs and unhealthy coping mechanisms that result from unprocessed trauma. Participants are guided through exercises to create mental space for healing, releasing old emotional patterns and thoughts. Techniques for visualizing the release of trauma are also explored creating room for healthier coping strategies and mental clarity moving forward.

Creating a Practice for Continued Growth

Focus on creating a sustainable, ongoing practice for maintaining emotional well-being and resilience. Practice daily and weekly exercises to reinforce emotional release and prevent relapse into old coping habits. Encouraging the creation of an accountability system for continued growth that offers a chance to reflect on personal progress, share experiences, and make suggestions for further development.
