The Place That Holds Us
Located at Harmony PEC in Waupoos, Ontario, this beautiful retreat centre rests on the traditional lands of the Mississauga First Nation. Set high above Lake Ontario and surrounded by protected wetlands and ancient forest, the scenery itself becomes part of the experience.
A winding drive opens to wide skies, quiet trails, and an escarpment-edge yoga deck — a place where breath deepens, the body softens, and time naturally slows. Here, the surroundings support the work of rooting, restoring, and remembering what it feels like to simply be.
The retreat follows a natural rhythm, responsive to the season, the group, and the land. Your stay includes time in one of five thoughtfully designed luxury cabins, nestled along the top of the escarpment and surrounded by wild forest. The cabins encircle a shared fire pit and seating area which act as natural gathering place for quiet evenings, fireside conversations, and stargazing beneath expansive autumn skies.

Meet Your Hosts
Root & Restore is created by a mother-daughter trio with a shared passion for supporting women on their journey home to themselves. Each of us offers a different way of guiding through mindful movement, meditation, creative exploration, and nourishing plant-based food, all rooted in the intention to help you soften, feel supported, and reconnect with your inner wisdom. This retreat is deeply personal to us and reflects our individual paths, our bond as a family, and our belief in the healing power of women gathering with care and presence.
